Start-up Assistance

Whitehouse EDC is committed to providing top-tier development, infrastructure, and quality of life for its citizens. We achieve this, in part, by driving growth and expansion within the city's economy.

Stimulation of business and commercial activity and the creation and retention of job opportunities within the city of Whitehouse is of our highest priority.

The abatement of property taxes, as authorized by Chapter 312 of the Texas Tax Code allows us to abate taxes in a reinvestment zone.

Tax abatement will be considered for the following facilities...

If such development will create substantial capital improvements within the City's limits or create additional jobs:

  1. Manufacturing facilities
  2. Distribution facilities
  3. Corporate offices
  4. Research parks
  5. Major tourism attractions
  6. Hotel / Motel facilities
  7. Multi-family dwelling properties
  8. Nursing Care facilities
